Updated: Mar 5

ree

It is essential to be informed about what could be making your acne worse. These foods are not the “cause” of acne. The cause needs to be managed by using the right treatments and products. But it’s good to know what can contribute to breakouts.

But here are the most common food triggers you will want to avoid:

  • Milk, Yogurt, Ice Cream, Cheese

  • Peanuts/Peanut Butter

  • Soy, Soy Milk, Tofu, Tempeh, Edamame

  • High iodized foods (like fast food, chips, kelp (yes, Kelp!), etc.)

  • Whey and Soy Protein Powders, Bars and Shakes

  • Super Greens (like Spirulina, Chlorella, Blue Green Algae, Seaweed)

Schedule a virtual or in-person consultation here to get the complete list of foods to avoid and personalized foods to include.
